Commercial landscape applications
Landscape contractors and facility teams regularly encounter banks, drainage areas, retention ponds, fence lines and narrow access points that are inefficient or uncomfortable to maintain with conventional equipment. The Mowrator S1 lets an operator control the mower from a separate position while maintaining direct responsibility for every movement.
Potential use cases
- Sloped areas on commercial campuses and large private properties.
- Retention pond banks, drainage channels and stormwater features.
- Roadside or perimeter areas with limited machine access.
- Areas where noise and local exhaust are operational concerns.
- Sites where a compact mower is easier to transport and position.
Municipal and public-property evaluation
Public agencies can evaluate the S1 for parks, facilities, rights-of-way and difficult-access landscape areas. The mower remains human-operated and requires site-specific operating procedures, staff training, hazard controls and compliance with applicable procurement and safety requirements.
Model and slope selection
The S1 2WD is rated up to a 45% grade (24°) and is intended for flat lawns and gentle slopes. Current S1 4WD configurations carry published ratings from 75% (37°) to 119% (50°), depending on the wheel package. These are maximum published ratings, not substitutes for evaluating traction, soil, moisture, obstacles and safe operator position.
Questions to answer before purchasing
- What is the steepest working area, measured in degrees or grade?
- Will the mower encounter wet turf, loose soil, rocks or drop-offs?
- How dense and tall is the expected vegetation?
- How will the mower and batteries be transported and charged?
- Which operators will be trained and responsible for site control?
Arrange a practical demonstration
Greenland Robotics offers demonstrations and configuration guidance from San Diego County throughout Southern California. Commercial and municipal teams can use the demo request form to propose a date, location and number of attendees without completing a product quotation first.
