Mowrator S1 Model Guide

Mowrator S1 2WD Remote-Control Mower

The two-wheel-drive S1 is designed for flat lawns, open ground and gentle slopes where the traction of the 4WD configurations is not required.

What is the Mowrator S1 2WD?

The Mowrator S1 2WD is a battery-powered, 21-inch remote-control mower. The operator walks or stands at a distance and actively controls travel, steering and blade operation using the handheld controller. It is not autonomous and does not independently plan or complete a mowing route.

Published slope rating

The current manufacturer rating for the S1 2WD is up to a 45% grade, equivalent to approximately 24°. This rating is different from the steeper published ratings available with the S1 4WD. Moisture, loose soil, uneven ground, vegetation and obstacles can reduce usable traction, so the manufacturer’s operating guidance always controls.

Where the 2WD model fits

The S1 2WD can be a practical choice for:

  • Flat residential lawns and large private properties.
  • Gentle slopes within the published operating limit.
  • Open areas where compact size and remote operation are useful.
  • Routine mowing, mulching, discharge and compatible collection applications.
  • Owners who do not require the additional traction of four-wheel drive.

When to consider the S1 4WD instead

Choose the Mowrator S1 4WD when the property includes steeper grades, rough ground, lower-traction surfaces or frequent transitions across uneven terrain. The correct decision depends on the complete site—not slope alone.
